What we collect

NookBench collects the minimum information needed to run the site:

• Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to "IT Helpdesk Files," your email address is stored by our email provider, Buttondown, solely to send you that newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• Contact emails. If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and improve the site.
• Basic site analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are popular. This does not identify you personally.

Cookies and advertising

NookBench may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visitingGoogle's Ads Settings, or ataboutads.infofor other providers.

Affiliate links use tracking cookies set by the retailer (not by us) to credit us for qualifying purchases; the retailer's own privacy policy governs that data.

NookBench is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
