About NookBench

NookBench exists because most "best headphones" lists online are either recycled press releases or written by someone who never touched the product. We buy, use, and test budget-friendly audio gear and PC peripherals ourselves — headphones, earbuds, keyboards, mice, and webcams — and write up what actually held up and what didn't.

What "budget" means here

We focus on gear where price is part of the decision — not the absolute cheapest option, but the best value at a given price point. If a $40 pair of earbuds beats a $150 pair for most people's needs, that's the review we want to write.
